Gunnar Christenson (1895-1979) was a Swedish artist known for his land- and seascapes. He was a student at the Swedish Royal Academy of Arts and travelled around Europe in the 1920s and 30s. This stunning painting is one of our favourite we have ever been lucky enough to source. The sandy cliffs stand out beautifully against the greens and blues, creating an atmospheric and serene environment. You can practically feel the wind and the sun, and hear the sound of the waves.
